POSITION TITLE: Adjunct Instructor- Phlebotomy
PAY GRADE: $32.85 per hour
CLOSING DATE AND TIME: A completed Delaware Tech employment application must be received by the Human Resources Office in order to be considered for this position. This position will remain open until an adequate pool of applications is received.
The incumbent is responsible for teaching the phlebotomy curriculum as part of The Allied Health programs for the Corporate and Community Programs division. Both classroom and clinical instruction will be held at an approved licensed facility. The instructor evaluates student progress through observation and testing, and maintains student records of attendance and grades. The instructor teaches skills needed to obtain professional certification as a Phlebotomist.The successful candidate must be able to teach an evening schedule of approximately 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. twice a week for a period of 10 (ten) weeks.
Bachelorís degree in a relevant field. (MLS:Medical Laboratory Scientist) and four (4) years of relevant experience with 3 years of full time clinical experience in the past 5 years.
